    A crack appears in the firmament, and magic floods into Færrin. Warlords obtain this magic and subjugate the populace, beginning the Dark Ages.

    The Iridescent Host instructs the Hierophant Aurelia to widen the crack, allowing divine blessings to pass through and ending the Dark Ages.

  4. 0ag - 12ag

    Aurelia and her companions wage holy war against the Warlords of Calaria, eventually ending their rule and bringing about the modern age.

  5. 41ag

    Aurelia is granted a gift for her new church, the secrets of creating divine life. She calls this new life a Heart. The first Heart, Rule of Three, is born within the Iridescent Church.

  6. 48ag

    Helm and Torun Karavi, two of Aurelia's companions, leave her side to found Belvedere on the peaks of Austrene.

  7. 51ag

    Culoum Honor-Sworn, another of Aurelia's companions, takes up residence in the Opaline Mountains. He brings a contingent of knights and mages, who would become the first council of The Scale.

    Harrier Rael, the last of Aurelia's original companions, leaves on a trek across Edan to find the meaning behind her life.

    Harrier Rael ends her journey in the Evergreen Delta, and founds Raelion.

    Aurelia passes away. Calaria mourns for a month.

    Aurelia II is born on the 30th day of mourning. Her birth is heralded by divine revelations across the continent. The Church rejoices the return of their pontifex.

    Obie Toombs, a scavenger in Istria, accidentally creates the first slide and discovers the Infinite Horizon.

    Parmann Chorath integrates his friend Obie's slide into a horse-drawn carriage, calling it a "Slider".

    Obie and Parmann lead a convoy starward into the Horizon. The convoy is never seen again.

    Aurthalaxus the Plaguebearer is empowered by the Heir to cull life on Edan.

    Aurthalaxus wipes out his home country of Fūlwinter, and crosses the Tenchwin for his next target -- the Siksithys Kingdom.

    The Siksithys Kingdom's lands are salted and its buildings razed, reducing the vibrant forest kingdom to a lifeless desert. Aurthalaxus marches on Calaria.

    Aurelia II is slain in combat against Aurthalaxus, but the Plaguebearer is hurt and retreats to mend his wounds.

    Aurelia III, trained from birth, slays Aurthalaxus amidst the ruined cities of Siksithys. The continent rejoices.

  20. 271ag

    New settlements being to crop up in the remains of Fūlwinter. Its people are regarded with distrust, due to the Plaguebearer's actions. With their reputation already so low, many turn to piracy.

    Istrian settlers migrate north in search of an escape from the Stillness. They find the mineral-rich Velthara, and settle there to begin extracting the ground's bounty.

  22. 361ag

    Aurelia III passes. Aurelia IV is born in a small fishing settlement in Fenrith. When the Iridescent Church appears to bring Aurelia IV into the fold, her parents refuse to give her up. The Church takes her by force.

  23. 362ag

    Arkon of the Mist rallies the villages of Fenrith against the Church, and becomes the first Fisher-King. The people begin the long march across the Termean Veinlands.

  24. 362ag

    Arkon of the Mist befriends Clan Tyrlock of Istria and Parfus Tormeré. They march together towards Calaria to retrieve Aurelia IV.

  25. 364ag

    Arkon of the Mist and his convoy arrive at Hallia. Aurelia IV declares that she wishes to stay in Calaria, shocking the convoy. Arkon swears to stay until Aurelia can be cured of her brainwashing.

  26. 368ag

    After years of waiting outside the city limits, the convoy disperses. Aurelia IV remains in Hallia, and the Fisher-King returns, defeated, to Fenrith.

  27. 436ag

    Forster Cain founds Prime Meridian, the first modern Org. Cain is granted the right to manage roads in outer settlements of Calaria by the royal family.

  28. 475ag

    Aurelia IV passes. Aurelia V is born in Tormeré, where she is joyfully raised by the local church.

  29. 481ag

    Orber Chorath finds his ancestor's designs for a Slider and builds a prototype with an internal combustion engine. His invention would become the basis for Chorath Engineering.

  30. 500ag

    The Quincentenary of the Gods is celebrated across the continent. Forster Cain marks the occasion by unveiling the first train in Hallia.

  31. 514ag

    Prime Meridian officially takes over the infrastructural needs of Calaria. All roads, rail stations, and tramways are managed by the Org.

  32. 515ag

    Forster Cain and Aurelia V perform a bloodless coup in Calaria. The royal family is deposed and a unified council of Orgs and the Iridescent Church take control.

  33. 591ag

    Aurelia V collapses during a speech on the anniversary of the death of Aurthalaxus. Many suspect foul play, but the Church gives no confirmations.

  34. 599ag

    Aurelia V is pronounced dead, after years of attempted medical intervention. Aurelia VI is born in the slums of Belwick, the capital of the Calarian province of Brithwyn. The local populace are proud to be host to the next Pontifex.

  35. 620ag

    Aurelia VI declares that she will not leave her people after a mere century of service, and promise to devote her protection and leadership to the Church for time everlasting.

  36. 699ag

    A century-old Aurelia VI announces that she has received another boon from the Host, and will live eternally. Lookers-on later say that she didn't look a day over 30 during her address.

  37. 724ag

    The Twin Suns disappear from the sky for nearly a month. Researchers in Belvedere confirm this is a rebound from excessive augury. Aurelia VI accuses Raelion, which Raelion vehemently denies. Calaria breaks a longstanding trade deal with Raelion in response.

  38. 792ag

    At 193 years old, the divine magic sustaining Aurelia VI fails and she passes away. Aurelia VII is found left on a doorstep of an orphanage in Hallia. The Cardinal Prime of Brithwyn declares that they received no such divine revelation about Aurelia VII's birth, and a rift forms between them and the Calarian church.

  39. 802ag

    The prime minister of Calaria is assassinated during a ceremony in the Imperial Graveyard. The assassins enchanted a statue of Aurelia I to kill him during a speech. The killers are never caught.

  40. 802ag

    In the chaos of the the assassination, Brithwyn declares its independence from the rest of Calaria, citing that the Church has lost its way. The Calarian Church sends troops to Brithwyn to bring them back in line.

  41. 803ag

    The Org council elects Rhys Lawson to be the new prime minister of Calaria. Lawson runs on a platform of vengeance, claiming the assassination to be perpetrated by Raelion. The Raelish government denies the allegations.

  42. 803ag

    Prime Minister Lawson declares war on Raelion, beginning an offensive on two fronts for Calaria. The Iridescent Church of Calaria endorses Lawson's war, dubbing it a holy war.

  43. 812ag

    Prime Minister Lawson recalls troops from Brithwyn, and promises to recognize their independence, on the condition that they aid in the conflict against Raelion. Brithwyn accepts.

  44. 823ag

    Calaria ends the war with Raelion on the Night of the Midnight Sun. An explosive causes a chain reaction across the weave of Raelion, sundering the nation and leaving a gaping magic wound in the earth in its place.

  45. 858ag

    The Voidsong is first heard in Calaria. Scholars across the continent debate its importance and meaning.

  46. 862ag

    A wall of fire surrounds the district of Teller's Run in Hallia. Attempts to reclaim it by the Calarian government fail, and an accord is reached between the Church and Pyrelight. Teller's Run is declared a sovereign city-state.

    The Party joins Iconoclasm.
