Most of the Outer Gods' teachings are not mutually exclusive with each other, and cooperation between religious organizations is not uncommon. The Watcher, who seeks to preserve knowledge, melds very well with the Pulse, who seeks to preserve life. Their adherents often work together, as is most evident in the Belvedere, which claims a high population of both. The Heir and the Compelled both contemplate an inevitable future, and their followers often agree on significant details even if they quibble about little ones.

Of course, there are strong disagreements between deities as well. The Host preaches dominance over all else, so often, cooperation with others of different faiths is seen as a necessary evil instead of a joyous opportunity. The Heir and the Pulse's teachings are directly antithetical, so clashes often occur where their devotees meet. The Judge's followers usually insert themselves into others' business, which is met with derision as frequently as gratitude.

In the end, however, the true goals of the Outer Gods are inscrutable, and any alliances between them or their followers can only ever be temporary. Wars have been fought between nations on behalf of their Gods and will continue to be fought until one emerges ultimately supreme.
